A Porsche 997 Turbo has been recently officially released by the tuning company Wimmer RS. The car was tuned to produce a monstrous 840 horsepower, but has other impressive features too.
Wimmer, that has been in the tuning business for more than 20 years, chose the Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet as their platform of choice. In stock form, the 997 Turbo produces 480 horsepower and 620 Nm of torque coming from its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. In order to increase power and performance, Wimmer tuned the engine electronics in addition to installing a twin-turbo system.
The result of all of these upgrades is 840 horsepower and 870 Nm of max torque. No information on acceleration numbers or top speed has been provided, but needless to say the car is wicked fast. Moreover it looks chic and trendy.
